Sounds like a very much downsized digital replication of the Peavey Tube Sweetener? Dial in the amount of tube compression? The Tube Sweetener was actual 12AX7 tubes in rack mount and could dial in the amount of tube compression with one knob and sparkle with another. Plus, the capability of experimenting with different tube values and brands of tubes. Is the Baby Bloomer the same idea?

I'm going to be putting one through its paces here. Can't wait to see what all it does.

Judging from the description, and picture, this sounds very much like a smaller version of the Steel Guitar Blackbox (which actually does really sound fine.).

Interesting.

Have a question. If you run your effects into the amp by the send and receive plugs where would the boomer placed. Would it go in the main line to the amp or in the effects send and receive line.

I don't have one Larry, but it will run off a 9V battery or a wall wart p/s, yes. I've read that battery lasts about 20 hrs.

Maybe the right person will come along and describe the proper wall wart to use with the unit as the website doesn't specify. Cheers! JO.

Got my Baby Bloomer today and hooked it up straight from the steel to effects and then into the Bloomer. It is something special. Sounds amazing. Have not tried it through the effects send and return yet, but will report when I try it. From what I understand you can use a one spot to plug it in if you don’t want to use the battery all the time.

I will try and answer some of these questions.

First, the Baby Bloomer will operate approximately 500 hours on a 9V battery. The battery is disconnected when you remove the plug from the input jack.
It will also operate on a 9V wall wart, but I have found no reason to use this method.

The Baby Bloomer should be the last thing in the chain, just before the main input to your amp. When I use one with my NV112, I put it on top of my amp and use a short patch cable to connect to the input. This way there is no chance of hooking it up wrong.

It is not version of or copy of anyone elses product. It stands alone. The results with this pedal are VERY subtle, as intended. It is like taking a blanket off the front of your amp and if you use a passive pedal, it helps smooth out the tone across the sweep of the volume pot. I personally don't recommend it with an ACTIVE volume pedal. Kindof defeats the purpose.

Even though I am a Goodrich dealer, this product is ONLY available directly from Goodrich.
The profit margin is simply too small to share with a dealer or the price would have to be increased.

I gave Mike Sweeney my 1st generation Bloomer and he is doing some testing and live seminars on the Bloomer.

I hope this helps.
