Heart Of Texas Country Music Festival Tickets (Rescheduled)

I have a pair of tickets for the following four shows that I need to sell. I won't be able to attend due to a very serious health concern I just learned about.

The festival (in Brady, Texas) runs from Friday, March 20th through Saturday, March 28th.

Friday 3/20, 8pm dance ($25 each): Johnny Bush and the Bandoleros with Dallas Wayne [two seats at table 68]

Tuesday 3/24, 7pm dance ($15 each): The Justin Trevino Band [two seats at table 24]

Wednesday 3/25, 7pm dance ($20 each): Jody Nix And The Texas Cowboys [two seats at table 50]

Thursday 3/26, 8pm dance ($25 each): Jake Hooker & The Outsiders (Tommy Detamore on steel) And Jeff Woolsey & The Dance Hall Kings [two seats at table 69]

Thanks for you very kind words, my friend. I was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer, so travel will be very limited for a while. I've been planning to attend the TSGA show in Dallas next month but I may have to cancel that as well. I'll be starting chemo and radiation treatments very soon.

I'm sorry you had to miss the Mesa show. I had the slot following yours, so I was looking forward to seeing you.

It is my understanding that the HOT Music Festival in Brady has been postponed. The new date will be announced soon.

Heart of Texas Country Music Festival Postponed

After Governor Abbott declared Texas was in “a state of disaster” and consultation with Brady Mayor Tony Groves and our attorney, the Heart of Texas Country Music Association Friday announced the postponement of the 31st Annual Heart of Texas Country Music Festival scheduled for March 20-28 in Brady.

Event organizer, Tracy Pitcox, said, “We’ve been monitoring the situation closely, and believe it is best to postpone the event until the current crisis is over. Although rescheduling the event will cost the organization thousands of dollars, the health of our fans, artists and community are most important to us.”

He also noted that two of the major headliners had opted out of the event due to the coronavirus emergency.

Pitcox said the Festival will be rescheduled for later this year, with an announcement of the new dates expected with 14 days.

At that time, Pitcox said they will transfer all of the reservations and ticketing to the new dates and address further options after those arrangement have been made.

“We are sincerely sorry and are hoping that our attendees will understand the situation and work with us to attend the rescheduled event in a few months after all of this chaos is over,” Pitcox said.

The Heart of Texas Country Music Association extends their appreciation to the City of Brady and McCulloch County for their cooperation during this time.

I was just notified that all of the shows have been rescheduled to dates in August. It appears they will now be able to facilitate a full refund to me for the show tickets I still have. I have contacted Greg Cutshaw to see if he still wants his rescheduled tickets or would like a refund.
