Randy Rollman upstate NY
Hey everyone,
Anybody know a player named Randy Rollman? He played steel in the Stony Creek Band.
I just came across his Fender custom T8. His family was selling it because he recently passed.
It had very clever and useful mods a seasoned player would put on it. Killswitch, raised boo wah tone pot.
Steel had great tone. The trap pups still barked.
All three necks were still relatively in tune. C6, E9, and A6. Made me think he recently passed away.
Anyways, I picked up the steel. I could tell Randy was a really good and seasoned player just by playing his steel. I was wondering if anybody knew him.
Would love to see or hear recordings of him.

My google-fu is working!

Looks like he passed away in September 2025. Glens Falls is north of Albany, NY. Arguably in the Adirondacks, though i would take up the argument, myself.

Thanks Lloyd! I was able to YouTube search the City Limits band and found a bunch of videos from one of their gigs 12 years ago. Randyβs on PSG.Lloyd Graves wrote: 29 Dec 2025 7:07 pm My google-fu is working!
