Legrande ii or iii

Post by Cole Bushell »

Hi guys,

Would you recommend a legrande ii or legrande iii more? I’m looking at mostly d10s and some sd10s.

Thanks,
Cole

LeGrande III has been my weapon of choice since Ron Sr. brought his prototype single neck to Nashville to try out. I was one of three that were invited for the meeting. We spent a long time going over it all. I ordered 2 on the spot. No cabinet drop was the clincher for me.
Set up properly it's a dream to play. I also have the compensators installed on the front necks only..I've never had trouble on the rear necks.

the only real difference is the anti-detuning device which many players disconnect anyway. you can’t go wrong with either

Both can be great. If you can find a III and afford it go ahead and buy it. The tuning thing really works. They don't show up very often.

Yes, III is great for the cab drop remedy and you can always dial if back if you don't like it.
